Are you fed up eating in same place, sitting at the same table day in and day out? Break the monotony with some new crockery ware. Go shopping for a new dining set with topical designs and see the change it brings to your dinner table.
Is it damaging to the dinner plates if I put them in the microwave? To answer this question you need to check the dinner plates that you own themselves. Many will have a mark on the plates themselves if they are ‘microwaveable‘ or ‘microwave-friendly‘. If there is no mark on the plates then you should check the box the dinner plates came in. The reason I say this is that while it is not damaging to dinner plates that have been specially treated, there are some sets which have characteristics making them entirely unsuitable. For example any plates which have metallic paintwork or leading will cause sparks in the microwave. Also with glass dinner plates there is a high risk that they will smash if they have not been specially tempered for the heat.
Before you decide to give a silver plated cutlery as a gift to the couple, just think about the couple’s taste when it comes to cutlery. No doubt it is a great gift, but it’s not sure that everyone will like it or not or will find it useful or not.
First of all, it's usually cheaper to buy anything in bulk than it would be to buy several of them separately. The same goes for dinner plates. If you purchase a set, you can get multiple items and perhaps even different sized plates at a lower price than if you had bought them all individually. It's worth spending the extra few dollars up front to purchase the set. If you don't, you'll slowly accumulate the costs of single new plates over the years and that can add up to more than you'd expect.
To come out of this dilemma you can check if the couple is going to have meetings or dinner after their wedding, then it’s a perfect gift for them. As after wedding people usually invite their colleagues and even boss for lunch or dinner, then having a nice set of cutlery is always good for guests and leaves a nice impression on them.
